A Beautiful Home With Nowhere to Put Anything

THE CHALLENGE

The house had enough space.

The homeowners loved their home but were frustrated by one persistent problem:

Storage was integrated into the architecture wherever possible.

Rather than adding freestanding storage throughout the house, VAULTORA looked at the problem architecturally.

The entrance became a functional transition zone with concealed cabinetry.

The kitchen was reorganized to separate display, preparation and storage functions.

The primary bedroom gained a custom wardrobe wall designed around the homeowners’ individual storage requirements.

THE DESIGN PRINCIPLE

It was to make it feel intentional.

The objective wasn’t to make storage disappear completely.

Cabinetry followed the architecture rather than being added to it.

Doors aligned with wall panels.

Materials were repeated across rooms.

THE RESULT

The homeowners gained significantly more usable storage without sacrificing the visual calm of the home.

What had previously been a collection of individual storage problems became one cohesive architectural strategy.
